67 Days of Orlando Smiles

67 Days of Orlando Smiles

Two fun-loving Michigan natives have embarked on a 67-day adventure to experience 100 Orlando attractions. The Orlando and Orange County Visitors and Convention Bureau sponsored a contest to hire two "smile ambassadors" who would visit local Orlando attractions and blog, Twitter, and Facebook about their experiences. More than 300 people applied for the "job" and two childhood friends, Kyle Post and Stacey Doornbos were chosen. As payment for their troubles, they receive $25,000, a beautiful condo in downtown Orlando to stay in when they are not out seeing the sights, a rental car, cameras, and cellphones.

The duo plans on seeing some of the usual Orlando attractions--alligator wrestling, Discovery Cove, etc. It would be safe to assume they will also be visiting some of the major theme parks Orlando is famous for as well. They'll also be visiting some of the more offbeat places and local favorites of Orlando as well.

This past week, Kyle and Stacey had the pleasure of watching the space shuttle Discover lift off from the Kennedy Space Center. They blogged: "Night turns to day, the ground shakes and your sense of wonder swells when that shuttle leaves Earth." They also visited the Enzian Theater--a cool place where visitors can have a drink and an meal made with organic ingredients and see and indie film.

If you had a chance to visit 100 Orlando attractions, what would be at the top of your list?
