Forever Florida!

Forever Florida!

Forever Florida is hosting the Second Annual Harvest Music Jam on October 10. The all-day concert features an eclectic mix music from seventeen different bands and will benefit the Allen Broussard Conservancy, an organization dedicated to nature conservation in Florida.

Gates open at 11:00 a.m., and the entry fee is cheap--$5 will get you a full day of music, performance art, arts and crafts, food and drink vendors (for an extra cost), and even a drum circle! There will also be a mud pit, and campsites are available for an additional $5. It sounds a bit like the Burning Man Festival that takes place in the Nevada desert every summer…with more humidity and a lot cheaper.

An acoustic breakfast will be held the morning after the event at the Cypress Restaurant.

Forever Florida is a 4,700-acre "eco ranch" and wildlife conservation area located in the Orlando vicinity--St. Cloud. There are guided adventures, exhibits, educational programs, camping and cabin rentals, and a restaurant. The property includes streams, forests, pastures, and wetlands.
