The Polar Express Comes to Central Florida
The Polar Express Comes to Central Florida
If you're going to be in the Orlando or Central Florida area this holiday season, put the kids in their PJs and take a ride on the Polar Express!
Based on the magical book and movie of the same name, the Polar Express train ride at Florida Rail Adventures in Eustis, Florida brings the story of a special trip to the North Pole to life. Just like in the book and movie, the conductor will call "All aboard!" as kids and parents scramble aboard the train. As those familiar with the story can attest, the passengers aboard the Polar Express are all wearing pajamas because they are rousted out of bed in the middle of the night on Christmas Eve. Guests of the Florida Polar Expressed are encouraged to do the same.
Once aboard, passengers will be treated to hot cocoa and Christmas cookies and a reading of The Polar Express. Upon arrival to the "North Pole," bet you can guess who will be there to greet you. Yep, old St. Nick will be right there when passengers get off the Polar Express. He will present each child with their own jingle bell. The jingle bell has profound significance in the story--as long as you believe in Santa and the miracle of Christmas, you can hear the jingle bell ring.
After a visit with Santa, it's onboard the Polar Express for Christmas carols and back to Eustis. If you couldn't hear the jingle bell before, you certainly will after this trip--no matter what your age.
