Universal's Halloween Horror Nights
Universal's Halloween Horror Nights
Universal Orlando will be doing Halloween 2009 in grand style this year, as they have done for the past several years. Every year, Universal attempts to outdo previous Halloween seasons in the park, and this year is no exception. Universal's Halloween Horror Nights should prove to be the most terrifying Halloween season at the park so far.
The movies Saw, Chucky, and The Wolfman will all be featured during the Halloween spectacle that will take place on select nights between September 25 and October 31. Scenes from these movies have been "ripped from the silver screen" and brought to life for the event. While the Disney parks do Halloween in a cartoony, cute way, Universal warns that some of the events may not be suitable for guests under the age of 13.
Universal Orlando will be "transformed into a nightmarish labyrinth of haunted houses, outrageous live shows, and electrifying scare zones while an army of mutants, monsters and maniacs roam the darkened studio streets."
Tony Timpone, Editor of Fangoria Magazine, said, "After visiting scream parks all across the US for the last 20 years, I can easily say that Universal's is the best in the business… Halloween Horror Nights is the ultimate Halloween experience."
While definitely not suitable for everyone, Universal's Halloween Horror Nights sounds like even the most jaded Halloween and horror aficionado will be left screaming in terror. And for the most hardcore horror fans, you're in luck: They're holding auditions for Halloween Horror Nights cast members.
