Walt Disney World Swan Resort
|
||||||||
Facility Overview:
The Disney Swan resort is a magnificent building designed by the famous architect Michael Graves. The Disney Swan is next to another Disney resort called the Disney Dolphin. Both of these hotels serve as two of the most elegant Disney area Orlando hotels. Both the Disney Swan and Dolphin were recently voted “Leading Resort in North America” by travel agents. You cannot go wrong at either of these Orlando resorts. Together they share 84 meeting rooms with 329,000 square feet of space.
Children and adults alike will love the building which sports massive and gorgeous swans that majestically light up once the sun has set. The liberating theme of birds is incorporated throughout the building, and you will see swans pop up in fountains and carvings throughout this Orlando hotel.
Rooms at the Disney Swan have attention to comfort and elegance. The rooms have the signature Westin Heavenly Bed, which is a Westin comfortable staple complete with a foot-thick pillow top mattress, down blanket comforter, and five pillows. There are 756 guest rooms in this 12 story resort, including an impressive 55 suites.
The Disney Swan does not disappoint in the way of amenities, and offers the fun and attention to detail you can only expect from Disney. The resort includes a unique grotto pool with a children’s playground, also a nightly Camp Dolphin for parents who want a break from their children during dinnertime.
Disney Swan even has its own recreational area including a white sand beach, and five pools. When you stay at the Swan Disney you will also be provided with special Walt Disney World benefits, which includes access to the Disney resorts one hour earlier than the general public. This is called the “Extra Magic Hour benefit.”
Golfers will love the fact that the Disney Swan resort is near no less than five championship Walt Disney Golf courses. Of course, this Orlando resort also has topnotch transportation to all Disney Theme Parks. You can even transport to Disney in a novel fun fashion, as the Disney Swan offers a water taxi that will take you to the theme parks.
Four dining options are on the premises, which serve everything from traditional Italian, to sushi. Disney characters even make appearances in the Garden Grove, which is one of Disney Swan’s casual restaurants. The Disney Swan is an elegant, yet fun resort that will immerse adults and children in the Walt Disney World experience.
