Anyone who's ever been to the Magic Kingdom during Christmas will tell you that at no time is the Magic Kingdom more magic than at the holidays. Not only is the place decked out in oodles of holiday finery, but there are plenty of special events going on as well. Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party is going on through December 18 and includes the following fun:

• Mickey's Once Upon a Christmastime parade featuring a special appearance by the fat man in red himself

• Holiday Wishes: Celebrate the Spirit of the Season--a fireworks extravaganza

• Live entertainment from your favorite Disney characters, decked out especially for the holidays

• Meet and greet opportunities throughout the park with Disney characters

• Cookies and hot cocoa--what holiday party would be complete without this holiday treat combination?

• Snow in Florida? If you're at Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party, the answer is yes. It will snow on Main Street, U.S.A. during this special holiday event.

• Cinderella's Castle will be awash in thousands of twinkling Christmas lights

The Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party is a special event that requires ticket purchase outside of regular park admission.
